Learning Sciences, Media, and Technology (Graduate Certificate)
Learning takes in many different contexts and is affected by the technologies that are present and by the social norms that structure how people work, play, and interact with others. The Learning Sciences, Media, and Technology Certificate program focuses on the intersection of learning, media, and technology.
As a student in the program, you complete 12 credit hours of graduate course work designed to transform your perspective on how learning occurs. Courses leading to the certificate include the following:
- Assessment in Education
- Learning and Cognition in Education
- Topical Seminar Courses (your choice of two courses from a prescribed list)
Whether your chosen career is in education or industry, this program will help you think differently about how people are learning and equip you to improve the learning process in both formal and casual environments.
