Certificate requirements
The AI graduate certificate requires completion of four courses totaling 12 credit hours. You can do this in as little as one semester or up to two years.
Admissions requirements
While a background in computer science, mathematics, engineering, informatics, or other science disciplines is ideal, we embrace all academic and professional backgrounds. Some experience or working knowledge of programming languages such as Python and R is preferred, as well as an understanding of mathematical principles (linear algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, or discrete math).
Applicants must have:
- Earned a 4-year bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Received a 3.0 cumulative GPA from all attended institutions
