This graduate degree is awarded by the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). IUPUI is administered by Indiana University.
The Organizational Leadership Concentration within the Master of Science in Technology prepares you for leadership in a contemporary workplace.
In this master's program, you learn to:
- Apply organizational leadership theories to the workplace.
- Lead research-based organizational change.
- Design and conduct workplace research to make data-guided decisions.
If you have a BS in a technology discipline or related area, you may enroll as a full-time student or a part-time student. You can complete the program in four semesters and must complete it within five years.
This program is offered through IUPUI's Purdue School of Engineering and Technology. IUPUI is a joint Indiana University-Purdue University campus. Your MS in Technology degree will be conferred from Purdue University.
The Organizational Leadership Concentration within the MS in Technology prepares you for such careers as:

Degree Requirements
To earn the Organizational Leadership concentration within the Master of Science in Technology, you will complete 33 credit hours. Requirements are broken down as follows:
- Required Primary Core MS in Technology Courses (9 credit hours)
The core courses will help you understand quantitative and qualitative data-guided decision-making principles in industry and technology. They also build relevant skills in project management and communication.
- Required Organizational Leadership Concentration Courses (15 credit hours)
The Organizational Leadership Concentration requires five graduate courses.
- Related Electives (9 credit hours)
You may choose three relevant elective courses in consultation with your advisor.
You choose one of two options: Courses Only or Directed Project.
