The IU Online Graduate Certificate in Preparing Educators of Students with Autism (PESA) is designed for personal and professional care providers for individuals with autism spectrum disorders who desire to understand and utilize the most current assessment and intervention methods in their care delivery. 

The interactive nature of the academy allows you to strengthen your skills and build collaborative networks. PESA courses review current research and evidence-based practices in autism assessment and intervention, and incorporate perspectives of individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families.

Certificate Requirements

To earn your Graduate Certificate in Preparing Educators of Students with Autism, you must complete 15 credit hours of core coursework.

NOTE: If you choose to pursue the IU Online MSEd in Special Education, these certificate courses may apply to your degree requirements. Completion of the certificate program does not guarantee admission to the graduate program.
