Preparing Educators of Students with Autism

Graduate Certificate

Personal and professional care providers for individuals with autism spectrum disorders will benefit from the specialized training offered through the Preparing Educators of Students with Autism (PESA) academy.

The program is designed for providers who desire to understand and utilize the most current assessment and intervention methods in their care delivery. The interactive nature of the academy allows students to strengthen their skills and build collaborative networks.

PESA courses review current research and evidence-based practices in autism assessment and intervention and incorporate perspectives of individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and their families.

Completion of the five-course academy sequence provides evidence that you have developed, strengthened, and/or updated your knowledge and skills in the area of ASD at the graduate level.
