To earn the Master of Health Administration, you must complete 51 credit hours. Note that you are required to complete PBHL-H 514: Health Economics in person at IUPUI.
Requirements are broken down as follows:
- Health Administration core courses (48 credits)
- Practical experience courses (3 credits)
Depending on your prior experience, you may qualify for life credit in lieu of up to 9 credit hours of coursework, including the practical experience course.
To be accepted to this program, you must have:
A bachelor's degree
3.0 GPA or above on a 4.0 scale
At least three to five years of healthcare-related work experience (in a clinical or non-clinical position)
A current, full-time position in healthcare
