Human Resource Development

Graduate Certificate

This graduate certificate is awarded by Purdue University at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). IUPUI is administered by Indiana University.

People are the principal resource in any organization. The skill with which an organization develops, allocates, and supervises its human resources governs its success or failure. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics anticipates human resource development-related job growth to be above 20 percent between 2010 and 2020.

The Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Development (HRD) provides you with strong preparation in the foundations of HRD. As a student in the program, you explore a blend of current HRD theories with applied practice in leadership and in human resource development for today's workplace.
