About IU Online

IU Online is administered by the Indiana University Office of Online Education. Our programs offer an authentic education from a top research university to learners around the world. Our courses are developed and taught by on-campus faculty, so our online students experience an education just as rigorous and invigorating as on-campus students experience.

We offer 200+ online programs for both degree-seeking and non–degree-seeking students, including certificates, and associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. U.S. News & World Report consistently ranks our online programs among the top 25 in the country.

Our classroom brings together a student body of more than 8,200 online learners—each earning their degree on a schedule that fits their lifestyle. Our students are full-time professionals, busy parents, non-traditional undergraduates, international students, teachers, nurses, and so much more.
