Interested in graduate work?
To apply to a graduate degree or certificate, you can get started using the IU Online application. We will forward your information to the appropriate graduate department, and staff members in the department will contact you with next steps.
Step 1: Apply!
Complete and submit the application for admission. If you apply using the IU Online application (click Apply Now above), you do not pay an application fee. What's more, the IU Online application typically takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
Priority application dates are:

|Summer Session I||March 15|
|Summer Session II||May 1|
Applications may still be considered following the priority dates.
Step 2: Submit Official Documents
After you submit your application, we will let you know about the official documents we need to make an admissions decision. We will also let you know where to submit these documents. This will be the campus offering your intended program.
You may submit official required documents electronically or via postal mail.
These documents may include:
- Official transcripts from all previous institutions
- Official high school transcripts (may be required of some applicants)
