As a student in this program, you analyze ideas and issues, design and implement curricula, and support and mentor practicing educators. You learn to contribute to art education through teaching, scholarship, and service. You conduct research that seeks practical, tangible solutions to challenges in art education. You gain experience in scholarly publication and in higher education instruction.

Degree Requirements

To earn an EdD in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in art education, you must complete 60 credit hours.

Admissions

To be accepted to this program, you must have:
  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  2. Master’s degree from an accredited institution
  3. Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75
