In IU Online’s exploratory program, you have until your sophomore year (or up to 45 credit hours) to decide on a major. That means you can find which program is the best fit and still graduate in your desired timeframe.

With rolling admissions and a flexible schedule, you can enroll when it’s best for you and take the classes that work on your time. You’ll have access to student support and academic advisors that can help you find the right courses and degrees that embrace your passions, interests, and talents.

When you find the right major, IU Online’s advisors will help you create a clear path to graduation. You’ll be able to see which classes are required for your major, and what classes you can choose to take, such as electives or something that interests you.

To apply to this program:

  • Complete application for admission
  • Submit official transcripts
  • Submit official high school transcript or equivalent (may be required of some applicants)
  • International applicants may be asked for additional materials

Application Dates

Rolling admissions. Application review will begin upon receipt of all required application materials.

You may be able to transfer up to 64 credit hours from a regionally accredited two-year college and up to 90 credit hours from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.
