Your Undergraduate Certificate in Nutrition prepares you to apply specialized nutritional knowledge to such diverse fields as fields including therapy, dentistry, medicine, and nursing. You’ll learn to separate nutritional fact from fiction so you can give your family and your clients and patients evidence-based advice about the foods we eat.

To apply to this program, submit an application for admission that includes:
- Essay (applicants with fewer than 26 credit hours).
- High school transcript or equivalent (applicants with fewer than 26 credit hours).
- International applicants may be asked for additional materials.

Your IU Online Undergraduate Certificate in Nutrition prepares you to work as a nutrition consultant in such areas as:

To earn the Undergraduate Certificate in Nutrition, you must complete 12 credit hours.
NOTE: If you choose to pursue the IU Online B.S. in Health Sciences, these certificate courses may apply to your degree requirements. Completion of the certificate program does not guarantee admission to the bachelor's program.
