Master of Public Health 

The IU Online Master of Public Health in Public Health Administration prepares students to assume leadership roles in public health agencies.

As a student in this program, you learn to effectively develop and implement policies and manage programs that promote public health. You have the opportunity to  engage with public health and health services organizations in Indiana and beyond. You have the option of focusing on rural populations.

In addition to the public health core, coursework focuses on:

To earn the MPH in Public Health Administration, you must complete a total of 44 credit hours. Requirements are broken down as follows: 

  • MPH degree core courses (20 credit hours)
  • Public Health Administration concentration courses (12 credit hours)
  • Additional MPH concentration courses or electives (12 credit hours)

Admissions

To be accepted to this program, you must have:
  1. A bachelor’s degree
  2. Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
