Early Childhood Care and Education
This track focuses on early childhood, creating a closer examination of how children from birth to age five develop and learn. Courses include focuses on early child development and developing curricula for toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergartners, ensuring those who complete it have a rich understanding of the developmental and learning needs of young children.
Educating Diverse Learners
As classrooms become increasingly diversified, so do the strategies teachers need to implement. This track aims to provide educators with deeper knowledge of student diversity and an array of tools for supporting diverse learners. Coursework focuses on addressing difficult behaviors, working with English Language Learners, and working with high-ability students.
Teacher Leadership and Instructional Coaching
Designed for educators who are ready to take the next step, this track focuses on essential skills needed by teachers to fill leadership roles, complete special assignments, or serve as instructional coaches. The track includes exploring school-community relationships, using data to drive continuous school improvement, and applying principles of instructional coaching.
STEM and Arts Innovation
STEM and its derivative STEAM have focused more on education in recent years. This track is designed for those educators interested in enhancing their foundational STEM knowledge and developing tools for incorporating STEM and the arts into instruction.
To be accepted to this program, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3.0 minimum GPA
To apply to this program, complete an online application that includes:

- Two professional letters of recommendation

To earn an M.S.Ed. in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum, you must complete 30 credit hours.
